Molly Lanzarotta is a 2026 Edith Wharton Writer-in-Residence. She won the London Independent Story Prize for flash fiction in 2024 and received second prize for The Moth Nature Writing Prize in 2023.
Her short stories, flash fiction, and poems have appeared or are forthcoming in publications including The New Ohio Review, The Notre Dame Review, The Rumpus, The Irish Times, Seisma Magazine, Columbia Journal, About Place, Terrain, Cimarron Review, Carolina Quarterly, Southeast Review and several anthologies and books.

Molly has received support for her writing from the Straw Dog Writers Guild, the city of Boston Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture, and through residencies with the Edith Wharton Writers-in- Residence Project, Millay Arts, Dorland Mountain Arts Colony, Outer Cape Artists in Residence Consortium, and Noepe Center for Literary Arts.
